Battlesuits and Uniforms[]

  • Uniforms of the Early Human Legion
  • ACE Battlesuits
  • ACE Battlesuit AIs
  • ACT-2 Battlesuit
The mainstay Battlesuit of the 412th Tactical Marine Regiment, this suit is capable of accelerating fast enough to crush the enhanced physiology of the Marine inside it.  It was designed to operate almost exclusively within the vacuum of space, thus requiring this piece of equipment is equipped with a thruster packs to transport the Human Marines to their target. It is possible that this risk to the occupant is why it was ultimately replaced by the ACE Combat Suit. Like the ACE System that follows it, it is capable of providing life-sustaining nutrients and eliminating human waste, allowing the occupant to wear the suit for weeks at a time. While this gear was replaced with the ACE-2 System, many of the older ACT-2 Models were still in armories and thus assigned in the absence of the newer gear. This older tech was often given to newer, more expendable, units like the 88th Battalion of 'Marines' who were given said title before the completion of their entire tenure at the Cadet School.
  • Jet Racks
A means of transporting individual Marines in battle suits, which were lightning fast, but left the Marine vulnerable while in transit and when dismounting.  The frame was crude, with cross bars on top and bottom that made it look like a capital L.  You have to stand in the device and fall forward to get the thing to take control, and if you do it right you won’t fall.  It has a max of 10 or 15 minutes of fuel, but can go amazingly fast while it’s working.
  • Maneuvering Harness
A piece of clothing, sometimes worn under your uniform, that facilitates movement in a zero-g environment.  This device is sometimes called a Thruster Belt, though that is the slang term for the Maneuvering Harness.
  • Thruster Belt
The slang term used for a Maneuvering Harness.
  • Smartfabric Fatigue Uniform
The uniform worn by the Human Marine Corps, and later the Human Legion, which is capable of being programmed into many uniform variants. They also tend to form fit the wearer, if said wearer is sized within the appropriate range.
